atha cāturāśramiṇāṃ svānavidhirabhiṣekadivyavāyavyāgneyagurvanujñā iti pañcadhā bhavati nadītaṭākakūpānāmalābhe pūrvasyottaramupatiṣṭhate prāṅmukha udaṅmukho vākramya jalasthaleṣvāsīnaḥ pāṇipādāv ā maṇibandhajānuto dakṣiṇādi pratyekaṃ prakṣālyākenāvastrāvamavicchinnam adrutam aśabdam abahirjānuhṛdayaṃgamam udakaṃ gokarṇavatpāṇiṃ kṛtvā brāhmeṇa tīrthena trirācamya dviraṅguṣṭhamūlenāsyaṃ parimārṣṭyaṅguṣṭhasyāgniḥ pradeśinyā vāyurmadhyamasya prajāpatiranāmikāyāḥ sūryaḥ kaniṣṭhikasyendra ityadhidevatā bhavantyaṅguṣṭhamadhyamābhyāṃ sarvatīrthairvā mukhaṃ mārṣṭyaṅguṣṭhānāmikābhyāṃ cakṣuṣī aṅguṣṭhapradeśinībhyāṃ nāsikāmaṅguṣṭhakaniṣṭhikābhyāṃ śrotre bhujau tābhyāmaṅguṣṭhena vā hṛdayamaṅgulibhirnābhiṃ cāṅguṣṭhena pratyaṅgamapaśca spṛṣṭvā jaṅghayorvāme pāṇāvapyabhyukṣya sarvābhirmūrdhānaṃ spṛśatīndro 'ham ubhayābhyām iti karāvāpaḥ pādāvasminkula iti pādau ca tathā prakṣālyāpaḥ punantviti punastathācāmati ṛgvedaḥ prīṇātu yajurvedaḥ prīṇātu sāmavedaḥ prīṇātviti trir apaḥ pītvātharvavedaḥ prīṇātvitihāsavedaḥ prīṇātu candramāḥ prīṇātviti tridhā mukhaṃ mārṣṭi maheśvaraḥ prīṇātviti mūrdhānamādityaḥ prīṇātu somaḥ prīṇātviti cakṣuṣī diśaḥ prīṇantviti śrotre vāyuḥ prīṇātviti nāsikāmindraḥ prīṇātviti bhujau viṣṇuḥ prīṇātviti hṛdayamagniḥ prīṇātviti nābhiṃ spṛśatītyeke // (2.1) Par.?
athāpo namaskṛtyāvagāhya yāvad amanaḥśaṅkam adbhirmṛdā ca gātraśuddhiṃ kṛtvā vastram ā daśāt sūditamiti nenekti gāyatryā prāgagrikam udagagrikaṃ vāstṛṇāti śuṣke tayaiva gṛhṇīyādidamāpaḥ pravahatetyabhigamya hiraṇyaśṛṅgamiti jalaṃ praṇamya samṛdodakenāpaḥ punātvityabhyukṣyedamāpaḥ śivā ity apo vigāhya susvātīdaṃ brahma punīmaha iti pavitraṃ gṛhītvā brahma punātvityaṅgulyāṃ nikṣipya śatadhāramiti jalaṃ gṛhītvā payasvatīroṣadhaya ityācamya bhūragnaya ityupasthānamādityasya citpatiriti tribhiranāmikopāntābhyāṃ samṛdodakena triḥ pradakṣiṇamāvartya śiro mārṣṭyāpohiraṇyapavamānaiḥ prokṣayatyud vayam ityādinādityamupasthāya mahāvyāhṛtyā jalamabhimantrya karṇāvapidhāyābhimukhamādityārdhaṃ nimajjya ṛtaṃ ca satyaṃ ca yāsu gandhā iti trirāvartayannaghamarṣaṇaṃ karoti tato mandaṃ niḥśvasya dhautaṃ paridhāyānupamṛjya vāsaḥ prātaḥ sūryaś cetyādinācamyāpohiṣṭhādibhir ṛgbhis tisṛbhiḥ prokṣya gāyatryāpo 'bhimantryādityābhimukhaṃ vikṣipya pradakṣiṇaṃ karoti prāṇāyāmamekāvaraṃ kṛtvāṣṭāvarāṃ sāvitrīmabhyasya mitrasyetyādibhir ṛgbhis tisṛbhis tiṣṭhansaṃdhyām upāsīta madhyāhna āpaḥ punantvityācamya tathā prokṣyod vayam ityādibhir yajurbhis tiṣṭhannādityam upasthāya tathā karoti sāyamagniścetyādinācamya tathā prokṣya yacciddhītyādibhiḥ sāmabhirupāsyāsīnastathā karotyuditārkāṃ paścimārkāmiti ca saṃdhye yathādiśaṃ tannāmādinā digdevatāḥ pitṝn sāpasavyaṃ brahmāṇaṃ codaṅmukho nārāyaṇādīnnamo 'ntenopatiṣṭheta // (3.1) Par.?
athācamya kaurukṣetram iti jalaṃ namaskṛtya mahāvyāhṛtyā jalam abhimantrya hastena talatīrthakrameṇa kūpyābhyaḥ svāhetyādibhistarpayati bhūpatiṃ tarpayāmi bhuvanapatiṃ tarpayāmi bhūtānāṃ patiṃ tarpayāmi prajāpatiṃ tarpayāmi brahmāṇaṃ tarpayāmi nārāyaṇaṃ tarpayāmi mahādevaṃ tarpayāmi skandaṃ tarpayāmi vināyakaṃ tarpayāmi yathādiśaṃ tannāmādinā digdevatāstarpayatīndraṃ tarpayāmi yamaṃ tarpayāmi varuṇaṃ tarpayāmi kuberaṃ tarpayāmyagniṃ tarpayāmi nirṛtiṃ tarpayāmi vāyuṃ tarpayāmīśānaṃ tarpayāmyādityaṃ tarpayāmi somaṃ tarpayāmyaṅgārakaṃ tarpayāmi budhaṃ tarpayāmi bṛhaspatiṃ tarpayāmi śukraṃ tarpayāmi śanaiścaraṃ tarpayāmi rāhuṃ tarpayāmi ketuṃ tarpayāmi grahāṃstarpayāmi nakṣatrāṇi tarpayāmi tārāṃstarpayāmi viśvāndevāṃstarpayāmi sarvāśca devatāstarpayāmi vedāṃstarpayāmi yajñāṃstarpayāmi chandāṃsi tarpayāmi svagotrādisaptarṣīṃstarpayati viśvāmitraṃ tarpayāmi jamadagniṃ tarpayāmi bharadvājaṃ tarpayāmi gautamaṃ tarpayāmyatriṃ tarpayāmi vasiṣṭhaṃ tarpayāmi kaśyapaṃ tarpayāmi bhṛguṃ prācīnāvītī pitryāṇi karoti ūrmyodakānta iti pitṛbhyaḥ pitāmahebhyaḥ prapitāmahebhyo jñātivargebhyaḥ pitṛpatnībhyaḥ pitāmahapatnībhyaḥ prapitāmahapatnībhyo jñātivargapatnībhyaḥ svadhā namastarpayāmīti tarpayati atha nivītī bhaumāṃstarpayāmi bhaumadivyāṃstarpayāmi nāgāṃstarpayāmi nāgadivyāṃstarpayāmi yāvanto jalārthinastāvantaḥ pratigṛhṇantvity apo visṛjyācamya brahmayajñaṃ karoti śuddhe deśe barhir āstīrya brāhmamāsanamāsthāya pavitrapāṇirbrahmāñjaliṃ kṛtvā prāṅmukhaḥ sāvitrīpūrva nityamiṣe tvorje tvetyādi yathākāmaṃ naimittikamṛtaṃ ca satyaṃ ca devakṛtasya yanme garbhe tarat sa mandī vasoḥ pavitraṃ jātavedase viṣṇornu kaṃ sahasraśīrṣaikākṣaram ā tvāhārṣaṃ tvamagne pavasvādīn svādhāyam adhīyīta saurībhir ṛgbhir yathākāmam ādityaṃ copatiṣṭheta // (4.1) Par.?
aśakto nityaṃ pādau prakṣālyācamya ato devādi vaiṣṇavaṃ japtvā divyaṃ vāyavyamāgneyaṃ mantrasnānaṃ vā kṛtvā pūrvavadācamanādīni kuryāddivaścyutairgāṅgeyairādhāvaiḥ sātapair varṣair vāsecanaṃ divyaṃ gavāṃ pādodgatairvāyunītaiḥ pāṃsubhiḥ sparśanaṃ vāyavyaṃ bhasmanā śuddhena sarvāṅgamālepanamāgneyamāpo hi ṣṭheti mantreṇāgneyena tīrthenābhyukṣaṇaṃ mantrasnānaṃ dakṣiṇapāṇermadhyatalamāgneyaṃ tīrthaṃ kaniṣṭhāṅgulimūlaṃ daivaṃ sarvāṅgulimūlāgramārṣaṃ pradeśinyaṅguṣṭhayormadhyaṃ paitṛkamaṅguṣṭhasya mūlaṃ brāhmaṃ daivena tīrthenopavītī daivikaṃ kāryamārṣeṇārṣaṃ paitṛkeṇa pitryaṃ sarvaṃ brāhmeṇa brahmatarpaṇamācamanamāgneyena tīrthenābhyukṣaṇaṃ karoti dakṣiṇahastamuddhṛtyopavītaṃ dhārayedupavītī vāmamuddhṛtya prācīnāvītī kaṇṭhasakte nivītī bhavati snātvā puṇye 'hani saṃskārahomaṃ juhuyāditi vijñāyate // (5.1) Par.?
atha puṇyāhaṃ pañcāvarāñchrotriyān āhūyābhipūjayatyācāryaḥ karakaṃ dhārāsvity adbhir āpūryedam āpaḥ śivā ity apo 'bhimantrya puṣpādyaiḥ sarvatīrthajalam ityabhyarcya prativācakān prāṅmukhān udaṅmukhān vā sthāpayitvodaṅmukhaḥ supuṇyāhaṃ karomīti saṃkalpya svasti suprokṣitamastviti sthānaṃ prokṣya prajāpatiḥ priyatām ityuktvā taiḥ priyatām iti vācayati śāmyantu ghorāṇītyuttarāntaṃ trir apaḥ srāvayati ato devā ityagraṃ daivike saṃ tvā siñcāmītyagraṃ sūtake śucī vo havyetyagraṃ pretake draviṇodāḥ savitā navo navo vidyucchataṃ jīvāṣṭau devā hiraṇyarūpa ṛdhyāma stomamāhārṣaṃ tvāryamaṇaṃ somam rājānam indrāvaruṇā śriye jāto yā guṅguryastvā hṛdā yasmai tvaṃ narya prajāṃ sutrāmāṇaṃ śatāyudhāya dakṣiṇāvatāṃ bhadraṃ karṇebhiḥ śataminnv aditir dyaur ityṛtvijaḥ sarve vadeyuḥ // (6.1) Par.?
devā ṛṣayaḥ pitaro grahā devya ṛṣipatnyaḥ pitṛpatnyo vedā yajñāśca sarvādyāḥ priyantāmantaḥ prativacanaṃ puṇyāhaṃ śivam āyuṣyam arogyam avighnam acalam aiśvaryaṃ yatpāpaṃ tatpratihataṃ yacchreyaḥ śivaṃ karma śivaḥ pakṣa ityastvantāstathāntaḥ prativacanaṃ śivā ṛtavaḥ santu śivāni nakṣatrāṇi bhavantu sarvakarmasamṛddhirastu sarvadhanadhānyasampūrṇam astvityekaikam uktavantaḥ prativacanaṃ yatpuṇyaṃ svasti na ṛdhyāsmeti pūrvoktāmitare 'nuvadanti yajamānasya nakṣatranāmādi gotranāma sutāntaṃ mātṛgotranāmāntātparaṃ śarmāntaṃ nāma praṇavādi bhavanto bruvantu puṇyāhaṃ svastyṛddhyantaṃ pratyekaṃ tridhā tridhā yathāvibhaktivācitamanuvācayeyuḥ āpohiraṇyapavamānaiḥ prokṣayati puṇyāhe kṛte tadahaḥ puṇyaṃ bhavatyādāvante vā puṇyāhena sarvāḥ kriyāḥ puṇyāḥ paripūrṇā bhavanti svāṃkṛto 'sīti dakṣiṇākālamuktavatsu ghṛtāt parītyadbhir yathāśakti dakṣiṇāṃ hastena dakṣiṇena dadāti tvamagne yajñānām hoteti tadādadīranyatra dakṣiṇādānādāne tatraivaṃ syāditi vijñāyate // (7.1) Par.?

athāgnyāyatanaṃ prākpravaṇe vottarapravaṇe vā śuddhe deśe gomayenopalipte śuddhābhiḥ sikatābhiḥ prākpaścimaṃ dakṣiṇottaraṃ ca dvātriṃśadaṅgulyāyataṃ dvyaṅgulonnataṃ yathālābhonnataṃ vā sthaṇḍilamagnyāyatanaṃ bhavati paristaraṇabarhiṣaḥ pratidik pañcadaśa sthaṇḍilapramāṇāḥ kuṇḍe ṣaṭtriṃśadaṅgulāstathaikāṅgulipariṇāhā vraṇavakrahīnāḥ paridhayaḥ pañcadaśadarbhairgrathitaṃ caturaṅgulāgraṃ dvyaṅgulagranthi hastamātraṃ prokṣaṇakūrcaṃ tathaiva dvādaśāṅgulamātraṃ pavitraṃ tatpramāṇā yājñikāḥ samidhaḥ pātrasruvādayo yajñe proktā darbheṣu dvaṃdvaṃ pātrādisambhārānuttare daivike pratyekaṃ dakṣiṇataḥ paitṛke saṃbharati nityahome 'gniśālāyāṃ mṛdā caturdiśaṃ dvātriṃśadaṅgulyāyatāṃ caturaṅgulavistārāṃ dvyaṅgulonnatāmūrdhvavediṃ caturaṅgulivistāronnatāṃ tatparigatām adhovediṃ ca madhye nimnaṃ ṣaḍaṅgulamagnikuṇḍaṃ kṛtvāsmin gṛhastho 'gnimaupāsanamādhāya nityaṃ juhoti vanasthasya śrāmaṇakāgreḥ kuṇḍam ādhānaviśeṣaṃ ca dharme vakṣyāmaḥ // (8.1) Par.?
āghāravidhāna
athāghāravidhānaṃ brāhmaṃ prāṅmukham āsīna eto nvindramityagnyālayaṃ prokṣya mayi devā ityādibhiścaturdiśaṃ darbhānukṣayed uddhanyamānamiti madhyapūrvāparayamāgninirṛtisomeśānamaruto barhiṣā khanati tathā pūta hyātaneti ṣaḍrekhā likhitvāṣṭābandham iti vakritaṃ darbhaṃ dakṣiṇapaścimasyāmutsṛjya rekhā gāyatryā prokṣya jātavedo bhuvanasyetyaraṇiṃ gṛhītvā mathitaṃ laukikaṃ vāgnimādāyāhareta ghṛtapratīka iti prajvālyāyurdā iti praṇamyopāvaroheti nidhāyāgna āyāhyayaṃ te yoniriti prajvālya mayi gṛhṇāmītyabhivandya karmaṇe vāmiti karau prakṣālayati idamāpaḥ śivā ity apo 'bhimantryādite 'numanyasva dakṣiṇato vediṃ parimṛjāmīti dakṣiṇavediṃ nairṛtyādyantamanumate 'numanyasva paścimato vediṃ parimṛjāmīti tathā paścimavediṃ sarasvate 'numanyasvottarato vediṃ parimṛjāmītyuttaravediṃ vāyavyādyantaṃ deva savitaḥ prasuva purastādvediṃ parimṛjāmīti pūrvavediṃ cāgneyādyantam aṅgulīrāstīrya sādhāvena pāṇinā kūrcena vā parimṛjya gāyatryā vedīḥ prokṣayati brahmasomāvṛtvijau varayitvādhvaryuroṃ bhūpate bhuvanapata iti pratyekaṃ prekṣya tābhyāmahaṃ bhūpatirityukte brahman soma prokṣiṣyāmītyantaṃ tathoktvā punastābhyāṃ prokṣetyuktas tathā prokṣayati // (9.1) Par.?
pātrādādhāvamādāya pavitre stha iti vedyāṃ barhiṣaḥ sthāpayitvā tānparaśurasīti prokṣya samidho muktabandhāḥ kṛṣṇo 'sīti vedirasīti vediṃ sruvādīnbarhiṣo barhirasi srugbhya iti barhiṣo 'graṃ dive tveti madhyamantarikṣāyeti mūlaṃ pṛthivyai tveti prokṣayati poṣāya tvety apo barhirbandhane saṃsrāvya svadhā pitṛbhya iti sāpasavyaṃ dakṣiṇataḥ prokṣyāpāṃ śeṣaṃ paścimasyām uttarāntamūrgbhaveti srāvayedubhābhyāmiti pāṇī prakṣālayati pūṣā ta iti barhirbandhaṃ visṛjya mūlād ūrdhvamādityaṃ vyañjanamasītyabhimṛśya paścimato vedyadhastāduttarāgram ūrṇāmradasamiti darbhaiḥ paristīrya svāsasthaṃ devebhya iti prāgagraṃ svāsane caikaṃ nidhāya viṣṇoḥ stūpo 'sīti prācyāṃ dakṣiṇata iti yāmyāmuttarata ityudīcyāṃ paścimata iti pratīcyāṃ prāguttarāgraṃ paristṛṇātyuttarāgram aiśānyām ūrdhvaṃ kṛtvā gandharvo 'sīti paścimasyāmindrasyeti yāmyāṃ mitrāvaruṇāvityudīcyāṃ vedyāṃ prāguttarāgrānparidhīnparidadhāti // (10.1) Par.?
vāyavyāmuttarāgram ūrdhvaṃ karoti sūryastveti prācyām uttarāntam upariṣṭād ityūrdhvam adhastānnāgā ityadhaśca pariṣicya vītihotramityagnyālaye samidhāvagnīśayordiśor ūrdhvāgre nidadhāti paristīryamityādinaindrādyam udagantam ārṣeṇāpo dattvā sṛtāsītyādibhirdakṣiṇādi tenaiva prāgantam uttarāntaṃ ca pariṣicya taruṇāsīty āgneyādīśānāntaṃ pradakṣiṇam āgneyāntam adbhiḥ pariṣiñcati vānaspatyo 'sīti praṇidhī prakṣālya pṛthivyāpo grahīṣyāmīti sākṣatam adbhirāpūrya vasūnāṃ pavitramityudagagre pavitre prakṣipya dakṣiṇena pāṇināgramitaradvāmena gṛhītvā devo vaḥ saviteti trirutpūya tathā nidadhāti brahmann apa iti somāya iti ca brahmasomāvṛtvijau pratyekaṃ prekṣya tābhyāṃ tathā praṇayetyuktaḥ ko va iti praṇīya vedyāṃ dakṣiṇottarayoḥ praṇidhī nidhāya saṃviśantāmiti kūrcena jalaṃ saṃsrāvya gāyatryā sruvaṃ prokṣayet // (11.1) Par.?
bhūḥ sruvaṃ gṛhṇāmīti sruvaṃ gṛhītvā varṣiṣṭhe adhi nāka iti vedyadhastātsamidhau nyasyāhīno nirvapāmīti sruvaṃ prakṣālya nirdagdhamiti paryagniṃ kṛtvā niṣṭaptamiti samidhor nidadhyād aditir asyacchidretyājyasthālīṃ gṛhītvottare bhūtakṛtaḥ sthopoḍham ityaṅgāraṃ nyasya sagarāḥ stheti vinyasya mahīnāmiti pacati pūrvavatpavitreṇa trirutpūyājyasthālyāḥ pṛṣṭhabhasmedaṃ viṣṇuriti vedena śodhayitvodbhavaḥ sthod ahamiti barhirdagdhvāṅgāramantaritamityājyasya darśayati dakṣiṇato 'ṅgāraṃ gāyatryā nyasya tayaiva carusthālīmadhiśritya darbholkena paktvāvatārayati pavitreṇājyaṃ pātre trirutpūya gharmo 'sīti granthiṃ visṛjyottarapaścime nidhāyādbhiḥ prokṣyāpyāyantāmiti pavitraṃ juhoti vītihotramiti samidagraṃ ghṛtāktaṃ vāyavye 'gnau sthāpayitvā devasya tveti sruveṇa homyaṃ dvidhā viharati // (12.1) Par.?
dakṣiṇapraṇidhau brāhmeṇa tīrthena prajāpatipurogān āvāhayāmītyuttarapraṇidhau daivenāgnyādīnaupāsanayajñaṃ yajñadaivataviśvān devān sarvadevān āvāhayāmītyantaṃ paitṛke vaiśvadevayajñaṃ yajñadaivataviśvān devān āvāhayāmītyantam āvāhayed yathāvāhanaṃ sruveṇājyam ūrdhvaṃ nītvā juṣṭaṃ nirvapāmīti nirvāpaṃ karoti tṛpyadhidvayena dvidhāgnau homyaṃ darśayitvāgnirjyotirdvayena samidulkena dvidhā dahati samidasi svāheti samidhaṃ juhoti sruveṇājyaṃ gṛhītvāmṛtamasīti anuttānam antaritam ityuttānaṃ pratyuṣṭam ityanuttānaṃ homyaṃ pradakṣiṇamabhimantryājyaṃ gṛhītvottānaṃ svato dakṣiṇato vāmataḥ praṇītāyāṃ saṃdhāya citpatistvādibhistribhireva tridhāgnau saṃvapati // (13.1) Par.?

atha sāmānyataḥ kriyāyā homamantrāḥ dhātā dadātu no rayiṃ dhātā prajāyā dhātā dadātu no rayiṃ prācīṃ dhātā dadātu dāśuṣe 'nu no 'dyānumatir anvid anumate tvamā mā vājasya samāvavarttyanumanyatāṃ yasyāmidaṃ rākāmahaṃ yāste rāke sinīvāli yā supāṇiḥ kuhūmahuṃ kuhūrdevānāmiti dhātādi ṣoḍaśa // (16.1) Par.?

ṛtāṣāḍṛtadhāmāgnir gandharvastasyauṣadhayo 'psarasa ūrjo nāmeti saṃhito viśvasāmā sūryo gandharvastasya marīcayo 'psarasa āyuvo nāmeti suṣumnaḥ sūryaraśmiścandramā gandharvastasya nakṣatrāṇyapsaraso bekurayo nāmeti bhujyuḥ suparṇo yajño gandharvastasya dakṣiṇā apsarasastavā nāmeti prajāpatirviśvakarmā mano gandharvas tasyarksāmāny apsaraso vahnayo nāmeti iṣiro viśvavyacā vāto gandharvastasyāpo 'psaraso mudā nāmeti bhuvanasya pata iti parameṣṭhyadhipatirmṛtyurgandharvastasya viśvamapsaraso bhuvo nāmeti sukṣitiḥ subhūtir bhadrakṛtsuvarvān parjanyo gandharvastasya vidyuto 'psaraso ruco nāmeti dūrehetiramṛḍayo mṛtyurgandharvastasya prajā apsaraso bhīruvo nāmeti cāruḥ kṛpaṇakāśī kāmo gandharvastasyādhayo 'psarasaḥ śocayantīrnāmeti sa no bhuvanasya pata iti ṛtāṣāḍṛtādi bhuvanasya sa na iti varjayitvā pratyekaṃ tābhyo 'ntā rāṣṭrabhṛto dvādarśeti prājāpatyādi mūlahomo babhūvapaitṛkayacchānte vyāhṛtiḥ // (18.1) Par.?

athānte homamantrāḥ yadasyāgnaye sviṣṭakṛte 'gnaye 'nnādāyāgnaye 'nnapataye prajāpataya indrāya viśvebhyo devebhyaḥ sarvābhyo devatābhyaḥ sarvatraivāgnaye sviṣṭakṛte vāstupata iti sviṣṭākāro yanma ātmanaḥ punaragniścakṣuriti mindāhutī iṣṭebhya ityādi daśānte vyāhṛtirityṛddhiḥ āśrāvitaṃ brahma yadakarmeti kṛtāntaṃ yatpramatto mano jyotirayāś cāgne yadasminsvasti no yata indra iti vicchinnam adho 'syedhiṣīmahi svāhā bailvaṃ samidasi tejo 'si tejo mayi dhehi svāhā pālāśaṃ yamasya dhīmahi mṛtyorme pāhi svāhā naiyagrodhaṃ sūryasya dhīmahi cakṣurme pāhi svāhā āśvatthaṃ somasya dhīmahi cittaṃ me pāhi svāhā audumbaraṃ vāyordhīmahi prāṇānme pāhi svāhā śamīṃ brahmaṇo dhīmahi buddhiṃ me pāhi svāhā khādiramiti sapta samidhaḥ sapta te agne ṛtudhā neti pūrṇāhutī agnirbhuktam ityupajuhvāmājyaṃ gṛhītvāgnirjīrṇamiti juhvā carumavadāya hutvā samaṅtāṃ barhiriti srāvayañjuhoti tato vāmena sruvaṃ gṛhītvā dakṣiṇenājyapātraṃ saṃgṛhyāgnerupari dhārayannājyaśeṣamindrāya svāheti juhuyāt // (19.1) Par.?
tatpātreṇādhāvamādāya sruveṇāntaritamagnistṛpyatvityupāgni paścimato vedistṛpyatviti vedyāṃ dyaustṛpyatvityākāśe pṛthivī tṛpyatviti bhūmau brahmādyāstṛpyantāmiti dakṣiṇasyāṃ tarpayati praṇītāyāṃ dakṣiṇasyāṃ daivenāpo gṛhītvauṣadhivanaspatigandharvāpsarasaścaiva tṛpyantāmityuttarasyāṃ vedyāṃ tarpayati tathottarasyāṃ praṇītāyāṃ sāpasavyam apo gṛhītvā paitṛkeṇa dakṣiṇataḥ pitaraḥ pitāmahāḥ prapitāmahāścākṣayyamastu tṛpyantāmiti dakṣiṇasyāṃ tarpayati prāsāvīr ityantaiś caturbhiḥ pravāhaṇaṃ kṛtvā dakṣiṇādipraṇidhyorupāntāṅguṣṭhānāmikābhiḥ pavitramakṣataṃ gṛhītvā pavitramasi pūrṇamasi sadasi sarvamasīti paryāyato juhotyakṣitam asīti praṇidhimuttarāṃ cālayitvā tadādhāvena prācyāṃ diśi dakṣiṇāyāṃ diśi pratīcyāṃ diśyudīcyāṃ diśyūrdhvāyāṃ diśyadhodharādharairiti yathādiśaṃ pariṣicya māhaṃ prajāmiti gṛhītvā dakṣiṇapraṇidhau svalpamādhāvaṃ srāvayitvā svāṃ yonimiti dakṣiṇapraṇidhyāṃ jalamudakapātre srāvayati āpohiṣṭhādinā tadadbhiḥ prokṣya praṇidhī visarjayati // (20.1) Par.?

punardevebhyo havyaṃ vahetyagnerdarśanena sruvaṃ visṛjya varṣiṣṭhā gahvareṣṭho 'grimiti varṣiṣṭhasamidhau juhuyād ūrdhvaṃ yajñaṃ nayatamityūrdhvasamidhau paścimataḥ paridhimapanayetyevaṃ dakṣiṇata uttarataśca paridhīn paścimato viṣṇoḥ sadanamasītyevaṃ dakṣiṇata uttarataḥ prācyāmiti ca paristaraṇabarhiṣaḥ sarvānparisamūhyāpyāyantāmiti juhoti śudhyantāṃ pitṛṣadanaṃ śudhyantāṃ devasadanamityavicchinnamāstīrya nairṛte dahedavicchinnena brahmavarcasāyeti bhūtiḥ smeti bhasma gṛhītvā lalāṭahṛdbāhukaṇṭhādīnādityaḥ somo nama ityūrdhvāgramālipyāpo hi ṣṭheti prokṣya oṃ ca me svara iti bālakṛtaṃ veti cāgniṃ pūrvavadādityaṃ copasthāya punarvedimūlamāsādyāgniṃ vaiśvānarasūktenopasthāya praṇāmaṃ kuryāditi kriyānte homaḥ oṃ ca me khara iti laukikāgnivisarjanamiti vijñāyate // (21.1) Par.?
